The Wedding Closet is curated by design. We do not accept listings that are in poor condition, and we ask every seller to disclose alterations and imperfections clearly.Not because we’re picky, but because trust is what makes resale feel elevated.

The Upload Process

Uploading to The Wedding Closet is designed to feel easy, polished, and consistent.

Unlike general resale platforms, every listing here follows the same format. That structure protects your time as a seller and gives buyers the confidence to purchase without second guessing.

  • The essentials

    Dress name, size, brand, silhouette, neckline, sleeve length, dress length, material, color, and whether the dress includes a slit.

  • Condition, clearly defined

    You’ll select a condition tier from our rating system so buyers understand exactly what to expect. If there are imperfections, you will note them and include photos.

  • Alterations and fit notes

    If the dress has been altered, you’ll describe what was changed. This is one of the most important parts of a successful listing and helps reduce back-and-forth questions.

  • Pricing

    You’ll enter the original retail price (if known) and your listing price. We provide suggested pricing ranges based on condition to help you price confidently.

  • Photos

    You’ll upload clean, clear photos of the dress front and back, plus any important details. If there is wear, stains, or imperfections, those must be shown. A photo of you wearing the dress is optional.

    We require original photos only. No screenshots or designer website images.
